Financial Director

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Financial Director to partner with the CEO and take ownership of our finance function. This role involves building financial systems and processes from the ground up, enabling data-driven decision-making, and optimizing our financial strategy during this pivotal growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CEO to shape and implement the financial strategy.
• Build and manage the finance function, overseeing financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Develop financial models to provide insights into unit economics and support key business decisions.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to maintain financial stability.
• Streamline systems for efficiency and scalability in the finance department.

Key Objectives:

• Create dynamic financial forecasting models to provide visibility into business finances.
• Enhance month-end reporting for accurate financial insights.
• Define and track key success metrics, particularly in stock management and profitability.
• Support product launches with strategic financial insights and pricing strategies.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven financial leadership experience in a high-growth or start-up setting.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Data-driven approach with the ability to translate insights into strategic decisions.
• Experience in e-commerce or retail is a plus.
• Proactive self-starter comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with financial automation tools and scalable systems.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
