Job Title: Talent Acquisition Executive


Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Executive to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting top-tier talent and managing the end-to-end recruitment process for our Leeds office, with a view to building out overseas locations in the future.


This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively target passive candidates, build talent pools, and manage recruitment campaigns while ensuring a strong employer brand presence in the market.


Key Responsibilities:


Attraction:

  • Proactively target passive candidates, leveraging various sourcing strategies to engage top talent.
  • Conduct effective market mapping to identify potential candidates for headhunting opportunities.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs, regularly engaging with these candidates to keep them warm.
  • Develop strategies to target candidates from non-recruitment markets, such as sales and customer service industries, to expand the talent pool.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure that the employer brand is effectively represented across all channels.
  • Work with our Digital Marketing team to execute a robust Social Media Strategy for Internal Recruitment, including campaigns on LinkedIn.
  • Optimize the use of LinkedIn Recruiter Professional Services (RPS) accounts to ensure maximum effectiveness in candidate sourcing.
  • Foster relationships with local universities, attending relevant attraction events and sending regular updates to maintain engagement.
  • Organize and coordinate Open Days/Evenings to attract and engage potential talent.


Vacancy Management:

  • Oversee the management of recruitment campaigns, ensuring they are executed effectively to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Ensure all job advertisements are accurate, compelling, and attract suitable candidates.
  • Add qualified candidates to the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and assign them to relevant vacancies.
  • Conduct initial telephone screenings for candidates applying to internal vacancies, assessing their fit for the role.
  • Hold vacancy briefings with line managers to fully understand the role requirements and profile.
  • Facilitate and participate in second-stage interviews, providing support to hiring managers.
  • Administer psychometric assessments for final-stage interviews, as required.
  • Pre- and post-interview discussions with hiring managers, coordinating the feedback process.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between candidates and hiring managers, coordinating all interview logistics.
  • Debrief with line managers post-interview to gather feedback on candidate fit and interview techniques.
  • Coordinate the feedback process, ensuring timely communication with all candidates.
  • Manage the offer and start date process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Meet with new joiners to provide support throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a positive experience.


What you’ll need:

  • Your ability to engage and nurture passive candidates will be essential in this role. This will be using a number of methods, including over the phone and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: The ability to build relationships with stakeholders and candidates.
  • Manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing social media recruitment campaigns across various platforms. (pref, not essential)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter Professional Services (RPS). (pref, not essential)
