A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STARBUCKS BARISTA AT HOLIDAY INN BLACKPOOL

At the Holiday Inn Blackpool, we are on the lookout for a Starbucks Barista for our Proud to Serve Concept, you’ll be a part of a global community that values passion, connection, and a love for great coffee. Join us at Holiday Inn Blackpool, where your role is more than a job – it's an opportunity to be a barista, artist, and ambassador of our coffee culture at Starbucks.

• Previous experience as a barista with a passion for bringing joy to our guests. You will be creating genuine moments of connection with our guests and making a difference to their day, through creating handcrafted delicious beverages and building relationships by getting to know their favourite drink.
• The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same, and working as a barista could include:
• Providing quality beverages and whole bean products consistently for all hotel guests in line with our recipe and presentation standards.
• Supporting with procedures including, opening, cash handling, safety and security.
• Supporting your fellow partners during periods of high volume to keep the counter operating.
• Anticipating and delivering on your guests needs by getting to know the environment.
• Delivering legendary customer service to all guests by acting with a customer comes first attitude and creating genuine connections.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace for your guests and partners.
• Stock managing.
• Bring the IHG values to life.
  

What We Need From You

We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...

• Previous experience as a barista
• A passion for training and development.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Food and Beverage experience.
