FULL TIME PERMANENT ROLE - IMMEDIATE START

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, well planned and highly organised Transport Coordinator to join our Operations Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our Transport Coordinator Will Be

• Liaising with UK and international hauliers to organise collections
• Working closely with procurement and external suppliers to manage the delivery of raw materials
• Coordinating with team leaders to plan marshal lanes
• Printing and issuing UK and International paperwork for drivers
• Coordinating with logistics team leaders regarding deliveries and facilitate the smooth running of the yard areas
• Proactively trouble shooting transport issues
• Developing methods and systems of work to ensure the safe movement of transport to all areas of the warehouse and factory
• Accountable for maintaining high safety standards at all times
  
  

Our Transport Coordinator Will

• Demonstrate excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Be well planned and able to manage their time and workload effectively
• Have confident communication and rapport building skills
• Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously under some pressure
• Have good analytical skills and be able to gather and interpret data to identify problems and opportunities
• Demonstrate an ability to make effective decisions
• Be adaptable to changing demands
• Bring a positive attitude and a flexible approach to the needs of the business in relation to tasks and overtime
• Good IT skills including MS Office
  
  

What We Can Offer Our Transport Coordinator

• Competitive salary of £27k to £32k depending on experience
• Hours: Monday to Friday 07.30 am to 4.00pm (40 hours per week)
• Location: Norton Canes, Staffordshire, relocating to our new Burntwood warehouse and factory in Autumn 2024
• Permanent contract of employment
