Role Overview:
As a Sports Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of sports programs within the secondary school setting. You will work closely with the PE department and other school staff to facilitate sports activities, assist with coaching sessions, and help organize sports events and competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and delivery of sports activities and lessons.
• Support the PE department in organizing and supervising sports events, fixtures, and tournaments.
• Provide assistance during PE lessons and extracurricular sports clubs.
• Help maintain sports equipment and facilities.
• Supervise students during sports activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

• Passion for sports and a commitment to promoting physical activity among young people.
• Previous experience working with children or young people in a sports-related role is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
