THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a strong creative Producer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to produce a wide range of work from branded content through to live action, editorial & corporate films, graphics, and animation – working within an existing dynamic and creative team.
Candidates should have extensive knowledge of all the creative processes of producing work for a variety of clients, particularly beneficial if they’ve been involved with commercials – including writing, directing, and creative development.
You will showcase excellent production skills, being able to motivate and communicate well with internal and external staff as well as clients throughout the project, take the lead on decisions, and create a comfortable working environment.
Our ideal candidate will have 4 or more years prior work experience in a fast-paced and creative field, with a proven track record of delivering high-value work; using initiative to get results for projects both as part of a team and independently.
Our clients include: Audible, TOMY, Honda, Boots, Amazon Prime, Channel 4, Disney, Aston Martin & many more.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing a wide range of production projects from concept creation (alongside our creative team) through to budgeting, pre-production, production & post.
- Work closely with all members of the Sassy team to deliver work of the highest standard, on time & within budget.
- Take a proactive approach to job budgeting and margin management.
- Attend briefing meetings with clients, taking responsibility for action points.
- Create detailed call sheets, scripts, storyboards, and treatments across a variety of projects, in order to manage workflow of jobs working with the Production Management team.
- Continue to develop expertise in filming technique, distribution & live facilities.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, liaising on proposals from the earliest stage of project development and throughout the production process.
- Manage concepts and pitches for all Sassy work where required.
- Help mentor junior members of the team including delegating actions where required & helping develop their skills.
- Take an active role in new business activity for the company by helping develop new product offerings and being proactive in identifying potential clients for the Sales team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Minimum of 4-5yrs experience in a production environment in a similar role, working across a broad spectrum of clients and projects.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Proven track record in generating, writing and developing creative ideas across a wide spectrum of genres, borne out of client briefs or discussions.
- Ideal candidate would have experience working on commercial advertising work from studio to on-location, especially toy commercials.
- Ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently, but always with passion and energy.
- Strong communication, organisation, administrative and time management skills, as well as an excellent attention to detail.
- A desire to take ownership and responsibility for Sassy project activity, delivery and the quality of work.
- Preferably experienced in various levels of international production (e.g. budget, crew size etc).
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Delivery of high-quality output for our projects and clients.
- Effective management of projects from concept to delivery, in budget and on time.
- Feedback on the handling of projects by senior team members at Sassy .
- Performance to be formally reviewed after three months and then once per year.
