Job Description
This position is responsible for financial leadership and management within the finance function for the CBG EMEAI regional team, providing financial support and direction to commercial operations within the division. The position will be accountable to maximize EMEAI sales and profitability, maintain and implement effective and efficient financial reporting systems, and develop both short- and long-term plans to improve the business financial performance. This position will lead the financial work activities in the business through by working with the Financial Transformation teams. The expectation is that this position provides support to help standardize and enhance current financial processes and procedures as well as implement new financial systems and reporting.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities to include:
- Support monthly forecasting and annual operating plan process. Setting targets for all territories and teams.
- Manages monthly reporting and analysis of business performance for the BU within the region.
- Works with CBG senior team to meet financial targets.
- Gives guidance and support to region GM on risks and opportunities.
- Maintain strong partnership with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations teams to provide meaningful counsel toward reaching goals.
- Utilizes and works with Finance Transformation teams on joint responsibilities to the business as well as coordinating and aiding with efficiency improvements efforts.
- Provide support to compensation teams for incentive payouts and sales awards. Provides full year reporting and review.
- Analyze results and present findings and opportunities to leadership as needed. Examples may include product consolidations, platform formulation opportunities, OTIF performance, pricing, and customer margins.
- Guide decisions through disciplined proforma creation and review for all investments and situations.
- Assist in the evaluation of acquisition opportunities and provide financial support for integration. Financial analysis and prep work; develop synergy strategy; Fully support integration including procurement, inventory management, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- MBA or CPA (preferred)
- 8-10 Years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience
- Ability to build, analyze and communicate statistical analysis of financial and numeric data
- Excellent MS office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and have the confidence to lead and influence cross organizationally
- Proven ability to build relationships and proformas
- Experience with Oracle, Microstrategy, OneStream, and analytics systems
- Strong analytical skillset with advanced skills in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player who can identify opportunities and work across functional areas to provide solutions and recommendations for improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred:
- Two or more years of P&L management or ownership
