We are recruiting for Finishing Operatives at our client’s workshop based in Enderby, LE19.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that makes bespoke products for distribution both nationally and internationally.

This role will require attention to detail and use of tools such as a hand sanders and polishers, to ensure perfect finishes to products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to train on different hand tools and machinery and to progress in a role.

Please note the products are heavy and there are cranes to move products but there is a little lifting required at times.

 

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 07.00am – 15.30pm. Over time available during busy periods

Rate of Pay

£11.50 Per Hour increasing on completion of training with further increases based on performance.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Use of hand tool such as a sanders and polishers.
• Ensuring perfect finishes.
• Moving of materials and finished products around the workshop
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
  
  

 

Skills & Experience

• Some experience of using hand tools is desirable, although not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to move and handle heavy materials and equipment
• Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
