We are looking to recruit an Educational Communicator who can work primarily with Visually Impaired learners in a large FE college and includes supporting learners in the classroom and to modify work. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in working in this field and is competent in the use of Braille and modification of resources into accessible formats. BSL knowledge would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will be joining a large, friendly and established sensory team with a track record of supporting students towards successfully meeting their goals.
We are also looking for an Educational Communicator who can work with Hearing Impaired learners in a large FE and HE college. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience working with the deaf community and is competent in the use of BSL. The successful candidate should be qualified to at least level 3 BSL and preferably working to level 6. They will ideally hold a relevant CSW quals/notetaking. The candidate will support learners to be access both the academic and enrichment curriculum and ensure they can fully participate in the college experience. The successful candidates will be joining a large, friendly and established sensory team with a track record of supporting students towards successfully meeting their goals. As an Educational Communicator you will be working with the Learning Mentor Manager (Sensory) to provide support for hearing impaired learners across our campuses.
