• Competitive pay: £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday
• Enhanced pay at £18.00 per hour for weekends and Bank Holidays (minimum 2 hours guaranteed).
• £26.20 non-taxable night out allowance. Driving efficiency bonus based on performance.

• After successfully completion of 3 month probation period will receive an additional £500
• Annual salary configuration towards £50k
• 
  Hours: Various shifts available e.g. 4 on 4 off, 6 on 6 off

• Comprehensive training with a mentored driver to ensure confidence and success in the role.

About the role:

You will be driving across the UK delivering mainly palletised freight.

(4 on 4 off 6 on 6 off)

The key duties include:

• Safely transporting palletised freight across various locations in the UK
• Securing loads using straps
• Dropping and swapping trailers as required
• Making collections and ensuring timely deliveries
• Managing and completing all necessary paperwork efficiently, including PODs (Proof of Delivery)
  
  

About you:

As the ideal candidate you will hold a valid Class 1/ HGV/ Tramper licence and have. You will show a commitment to safety and efficiency, possess excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, be comfortable spending weekdays in the vehicle, and you hold a Class 1 (C E) licence with a clean driving record, with experience in tramping and long-distance driving. You will be a reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. You will be prepared to stay in your vehicle for the duration of the week (Monday to Friday/Saturday) driving across the UK delivering mainly palletised freight. You will be safety-conscious and have a good understanding of driving regulations and best practises and be motivated by performance incentives, capable of maintaining high standards of driving efficiency.
