Temporary Mechanical Site Supervisor - Boiler Replacements & Plant Room Refurbishments - Blairgowrie


Location: Blairgowrie

Duration: Ongoing until December 2024 (with potential for extension)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Site Supervisor to oversee boiler replacements and plant room refurbishments on multiple sites across Scotland. The role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring site deliveries, and coordinating all aspects of the refurbishment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise subcontractors and site workers (up to 5 at a time) for health and safety compliance.
• Oversee the coordination of site activities, including deliveries and varying trades.
• Ensure room refurbishments are completed within the designated 5-week timeframe.
• Maintain high standards of work and site safety throughout each project.
• Liaise with project management and subcontractors to ensure smooth project completion.
• Manage site logistics and resolve any on-site issues efficiently.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Mechanical systems knowledge is required.
• Relevant certifications: SSSTS, CSCS Card, and Asbestos Awareness.
• NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field or extensive industry experience (4-8 years preferred).
• Experience in commercial or building services (no domestic work).
  
  

Work Conditions:

• Working
  Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). Early finish potential on Fridays.
• Overtime may be required, with supervisor oversight on additional hours.
• Free parking is available on-site.
• Rate: Competitive day rate ranging from £280 / 290 per day including travel expenses and accommodation (if applicable).
