System C, the UK’s leading health and social care software and services company, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Credit Controller to join our dynamic finance team. With over 35 years of experience, System C provides innovative IT platforms that integrate services across all care settings, enhancing the way clinicians and patients interact. About the Role: As a Credit Controller at System C, you will be integral to managing our cash collection processes. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving cash generation. You will be responsible for optimising working capital levels, meeting cash collection targets, and shaping our credit control procedures to support our growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Engage with customers proactively to confirm receipt and processing of sales invoices.
  • Chase overdue debts in line with the credit control chase cycle, maintaining comprehensive records of all communications.
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts, including foreign currency transactions.
  • Provide monthly cash collection forecasts and contribute to cashflow forecasting.
  • Report risks and opportunities related to cash collection, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed monthly accounts receivable reports for senior management.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams to support effective debt collection.
  • Maintain up-to-date credit control process documentation and assist in process improvements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in Credit Control.
  • Experience with shared service centres is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains would be advantageous.
  • Excel skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to influence and improve processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
