Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistants - Secondary Settings

teach195. are actively looking for a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistants in Bury. This position plays a vital role in offering assistance to students with a range of learning needs across different Secondary Schools.
Key Responsibilities:
· Tailored Learning Support: Collaborate closely with schools to provide one-on-one and small group support, tailoring learning experiences to cater to the individual needs and abilities of students with SEND, ensuring inclusivity in the classroom environment.
· Building Relationships: Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and helping to boost their confidence and self-esteem.
· Empowering Student Confidence: Work attentively to build trust and rapport with students, providing not just academic support but also emotional encouragement to foster a sense of belonging and confidence in their abilities.
Requirements:
· Experience working with students with SEND in a school setting is highly desirable.
· NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
