Event Assistant

Welsh Chair Cover Co is a wedding and event styling company providing outstanding service and beautiful venue décor to a very high standard in fabulous venues in South Wales and surrounding areas. We are looking to expand our team and looking for two part time enthusiastic people to join our company. An eye for detail and a passion for amazing service are essential as we play our part in perfect wedding days and events by transforming venues with a vast array of décor.

We always aim to be as helpful as possible and will go the extra mile to leave our customers feeling that we have enhanced their wedding or event experience.

As part of a team the role involves practical tasks

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing décor items for weddings and events
• Travelling to venues to assist in setting up and taking down wedding décor
• Washing/ironing stock
• Organising stock when returned to the warehouse

Qualifications and Qualities

Training will be provided via training courses and on the job learning

Qualities we are looking for include:

• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to understand precise specifications and instructions
• Being highly organised
• Being reliable and punctual at all times
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with couples and venues
• Willing to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Delivering work to strict deadlines
• 2 days a week, Friday and be able to work Saturday Mornings. 7.30 - 11.30am

Work will primarily take place in our Ebbw Vale based Warehouse and at various wedding venues.
