Accounts Payable Manager

Ventro Group are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager as part of our dynamic, growing and friendly finance team based in Plymouth.

Qualifications/experience required: At least three years of Accounts Payable/Finance experience

Key duties:

• Management of the Accounts Payable Process comprising 2 x monthly high-volume payment runs
• Liaising with the commercial and operational team to ensure payment runs are accurate and all purchase invoices are posted to the accounting system
• Setting up payment runs on the bank
• Dealing with payment queries from suppliers
• Processing of expenses
• Credit card postings
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Construction Industry Scheme returns
• Liaising with year-end accountants/auditors and completing requests
• Line management of 1 x direct report (likely to grow)
• Providing support as required across the finance function in a growing business
  
  

Key attributes:

• Self-starter & great team player
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work on-site
• Experience of working in NetSuite or similar accounting package (particularly Accounts Payable)
• AAT level qualifications or similar
• Good experience of Excel
• Experience of working in a busy accounts department
