32.5 hrs, Term Time

Palatine is a generic Primary Special School catering for the whole range of special educational and complex learning needs including PMLD, SLD, MLD and ASC.
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic, caring and friendly team players to join our effective and supportive staff. All staff have opportunities for professional development and everyones contributions are valued.
We are looking for therapeutic teaching assistants who:
Have at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Have an understanding of how to apply therapeutic interventions to support pupils exhibiting complex and challenging behaviours
Have experience of directly working with children with Social Emotional and Mental Health and behaviour
Are caring and understanding of childrens needs
Are nurturing in their approach and interventions
Are very well organised & efficient
Are open to advice, feedback and guidance from colleagues
Are able to communicate effectively within a team
Are calm
Are values led and able to uphold the values and vision of the school keeping children at the heart of everything
