Job Posting for Contracts Manager at Westwood Recruitment Ltd
Westwood Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a Contracts Manager for our client on a permanent basis with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning resources and any requirements/documentation for the site teams
Conduct regular inspections and audits of site activities
Help ensure that staff are competent to carry out their designated duties and are also medically fit
Maintain a constant line of communication with staff & clients and to provide feedback to the Contracts Director
To ensure that the appropriate briefing and provisions of relevant method statements and associated risk assessments are conducted prior to the commencement of work on site
Arranging through client liaison that regular progress meetings are carried out and ensure that the work is being carried out to the required specifications
Ensure that any site personnel are adequately trained and are competent regarding any plant used on site
Ensure that all relevant site documentation is maintained for the specific work on site
Role Requirements
Higher National Diploma (HND), or an undergraduate degree in a subject related to contract law
Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry
Indepth understanding of construction contracts, legal requirements, and industry standards
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
Familiarity with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
