St Piers School and College sits in the Education Directorate of Young Epilepsy, the leading national charity working exclusively to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and associated conditions.
St Piers is an innovative and creative non-maintained residential special school and college for children and young people aged 5-25 with epilepsy, autism, severe learning difficulties, speech, language, and communication needs, and sensory and/or physical needs. We work with young people to create personalised learning programmes appropriate to their individual needs and abilities. Our aim is to help them to fulfil realistic aspirations, achieve their goals, and develop meaningful and relevant skills for everyday life in society.

Your role
Working under the direction of the Domestic Services Manager, you will work unsupervised in assigned buildings on site. This job includes the cleaning of offices right through to educational buildings such as School / College buildings – so a great variety in working. You will perform daily cleans which includes, but is not limited to, emptying of bins, vacuuming, mopping, toilet and shower areas, offices, and kitchens and use of automated floor cleaners; Employees will be required to carry out other duties as requested. The post holder will be responsible for opening and securing of buildings as well general key holding responsibilities.
