Nassau County Department of Human Services is seeking a candidate for a full-time Certified Peer Recovery Advocate
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS - Must have resided in Nassau County for one year prior to date of hire.
Schedule - Monday to Friday 5:45am to 1:45pm
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Provides non-clinical peer support services as prescribed by a substance abuse treatment or recovery plan; performs related duties as described.
TYPICAL DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from high school. Necessary Special Requirement
Continuing certification as a Certified Peer Recovery Advocate - Provisional (CRPA-P) or Certified Peer Recovery Advocate (CRPA) authorized by the New York State Certification Board and the Office of Addiction Services and Supports.
Salary Information
Please note the Non-Negotiable starting salary for this position is $33,669. Salary increases to $38,282 after six months and then to $48,307 after one year.
Top salary for Certified Peer Recovery Advocate position is $68,883 based upon years of service.
