Responsibilities
· Supervise a team providing high quality intake and admissions services to potential students
· Collaborate with key departments to design and implement orientation sessions covering training programs within TEF
· Oversee and administer a system of comprehensive intake and referral services to meet needs of participants and ensure successful program placement
· Apply TEF quality program standards to ensure effective transitions and placements
· Oversee project and participant data collection and management, through Salesforce (MyTEF), to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
· Monitor spending and budgets-both grant funded (NYC, State, Federal) and collective bargaining; oversee timely processing of vendor payment
· Collaborate with other departments of the Training and Employment Funds to ensure a continuity of services for adult students
· Oversee initial member advisement for those seeking occupational certificates or college entrance through Fund benefits and programs
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Adult Education, Counseling or Human/Social Service-related degree or equivalent year’s experience required
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in adult education, vocational or college programs or healthcare related fields; to include two (2) years supervisory experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience managing healthcare education programs, adult education, workforce development and/or labor management training funds’ operations
• Project management skills preferred
• Knowledge of workforce trends in healthcare sector as they relate to education and training
• Detail oriented and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent presentation/facilitation skills, ability to work independently and multitask under deadline pressure
• Excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
