Our client located in Trappe, MD is looking for a Bookkeeper.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Provide year-end tax information to CPA firm.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
- Develop forecasts, report results, analyze variances, etc.
- Handles all payroll including payroll taxes on a bi-weekly basis.
- Assist with other areas such as new hire paperwork, business insurance policies, etc.
- Monthly sales and use tax.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience with restaurant accounting required.
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Compensation: 55k - 65k
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
