What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer position at Actalent?
We are in search of a metal stamping die designer that can develop drawings from customer supplied part prints using AutoCad Inventor. Ideal candidates will have experience designing a variety of stamping dies, especially progressive dies. Cost estimating and special machine design would be beneficial. This job will develop layouts, details and assembly drawings. The position would also consist of updating drawings and maintaining revision changes. Excellent communication and organizational skills are needed. Must be able to handle multiple jobs simultaneously and work with a design team in reviewing projects.
