What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Actalent?
Equivalent Experience
Description:
Phlebotomists will be working in a patient services center and will have around 25 blood draws per day.
Document and update records through their internal system.
Through training, the Phlebotomists will also take on additional tasks such as accessioning.
Population is mostly geriatric.
50-60 patients come through daily and they will be working with 1 or 2 other phlebotomists
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist or MA working within a high volume facility
Experience using both butterfly and straight needles
Must be open to being hands on with the patients
Experience with minor data entry
Flexible with OT to work on weekends if need be
Schedule : Monday - Friday 6:30am-2:30pm) weekend flexibility (8am-12pm)
