We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity while providing companionship and personalized care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medication and monitor medication schedules as prescribed.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, tidying up, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Escort clients to appointments, social events, and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors, ensuring the individualized needs of each client are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any incidents or concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Compassion and empathy towards individuals in need of care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in responding to clients' varying needs.
- Physical stamina and the ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support, if necessary.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on client needs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if required for client transportation.
