What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grinder/Shop Labor position at Aerotek?
As a regular, full time, employee, you are offered medical, dental and vision insurance. There is a great 401k plan where we match dollar for dollar up to 6%. You are given 80 hours of PTO per year. Eligible employees will receive a $1,000 sign on bonus. $250 after 90 days of employment, $250 after 6 months of employment and $500 after one year of employment.
Description:
This company specializing in manufacturing parts for trains. As a Grinder you’ll use grinders or chipping hammers to remove excess steel, bevel, round or straighten edges, and remove defects, burrs and holes in order to meet product specifications. This is a physical job. You will be required to do other general work as well.
Shift:
1st Shift 7am-3:30pm
2nd Shift 2:30pm-11pm
Pay:
$20.00
Must have:
- Manufacturing experience
- The ability to lift 50lbs
- Reliable transportation
