As an Account Executive you will support and lead communications and digital services programs. Airfoil enjoys a collaborative hybrid environment where you’ll work with an integrated team across media relations, social media, content, design, and digital marketing.
To be successful in this role, you will have previously worked in media relations, social media or a digital communications position executing on strategy. You’re now looking to transition into creating the strategy with support and guidance from agency leadership. This role will also involve counseling clients on best practices and identifying areas where Airfoil can help to solve a problem.
You’re comfortable working across industries with a technology emphasis like automotive and energy but also housing. However, your primary role of the Account Executive is to maintain an understanding of all elements of execution of a diverse program including but not limited to media relations, social media, paid advertising, website design, content creation, design, etc.
You’re detail oriented, a creative problem solver and eager to learn in an evolving agency environment.
More About What You’ll Do:
- Act as the client liaison to cross-functional account teams in the execution of communication strategies
- Interface with clients to create integrated communications strategy
- Coordinate and support client deliverables for the PR, creative and digital teams
- Support and track against client scopes of work under the direction of leadership
- Ensure client satisfaction through service and high-quality work product
- Ensure timely delivery of program elements
- Clearly and proactively communicate status updates, best practices, and challenges/solutions within team meetings and on clients calls
- Organize and prepare for client meetings, follow-up with notes and action items
- Research clients’ business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base
- Sit on the agency client service team to share best practices and implement change in a supported environment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills
- Previous experience in media relations, public relations, marketing, social or digital execution
- Broad knowledge of marketing and communications strategies and tactics
- Ability to manage timelines and budgets
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a concentration in public relations, marketing, communications, or journalism
- 3 years of experience in executing programs for communications, social or digital services
- Self-starter and independent thinker who takes initiative and will excel in a fast-paced environment
- Previous agency experience overseeing multiple client accounts or similar job functions
