Program Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Program Manager for an 18 month contract position with GE Aerospace. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience within a semiconductor/electronics type manufacturing environment within a Program Management position.

Salary

$50-$65/hr, depending on experience.

Daily Duties (Job Description):

The program manager will work with project leaders and Principal Investigators to develop program schedules, scope, budget, risk, and deliverable tracking processes and implement them across a platform of projects. They will work with the project leaders and team to track and communicate performance against objectives.

Top three skills/duties that are must haves:

Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget and risk for successful execution of the objectives

Ability to develop and execute a program schedule and subsequently track status against that schedule

Ability to develop scope, budget, risk, and deliverable tracking processes and dashboards and implementing them across programs

Ability to work with cross functional teams (ie Engineering, Finance, Operations, etc.) in the execution of complex technical tasks

“Nice to Have” skills:

Experience working in technical engineering field, preferably in the area of semiconductors, microfabrication, microelectronics, or other relevant technical area

Exhibit sound interpersonal skills to interface, coordinate, and negotiate with company personnel, customers, and suppliers

The ability to develop creative solutions to highly complex problems

Strong written and verbal skills to effectively communicate the program status across the team.

Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the performance of duties

Actively manage customer relationships to maintain a win-win of program execution and future business

Educational Requirements: BS

# of Years of Experience: 5 years relevant experience

Hardware / Software Knowledge Needed: Microsoft office including MS Project
