What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biller position at Allegria Village?
Allegria Village is looking for a full time Billing Specialist to join their team!
Some duties include:
- Review open accounts for collection efforts
- Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner
- Resolve client billing problems
- Collect payments in accordance with due dates
- Identify issues attributing to account delinquency
- Provide timely follow up on payment arrangements
- Verify eligibility for Medicare/Medicaid and back-up payment sources
- Communicate with hospitals to confirm medical information and arrival times
- Explain policies for rates, payment and billing procedures with families
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding reimbursement
- Billing residents and sending out resident bills
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS SKILLED NURSING BILLING EXPERIENCE
