Groundskeeper

The Groundskeeper will work a 5-day/40 hour per week position in an outstanding, fast-paced, and friendly work environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the over upkeep of the property landscape and the exterior image which includes cleaning of the driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, or any other public areas; maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas;
• Will operate vertical lift equipment to trim trees as required by contract.
• Must maintain high standard of appearance at all times due to the numerous high level of visitors we have.

• Previous experience shall include operating large power mower lawn mowers, edger’s, hand tools, and vehicles associated with grounds maintenance and landscaping activities.
• Must be able to operate and perform routine maintenance of commercial edger’s, line trimmers, chain saws, brush trimmers, push and riding mowers, and hand tools.
• Groundskeeper must have 3 years’ experience in grounds maintenance for a medium size government facility or the equivalent of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
• Must obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation for employment.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Must have U.S. Citizenship.
