Position: Graphic Designer
Reports to: Creative Manager
Location: Columbia, MD
Position Summary: The graphic designer is responsible for the creation and development of on-brand marketing assets for Ambu, Inc. US. Working collaboratively on the creative team on a wide range of projects designing and producing collateral for product launches, campaign requests, and supporting video assets with motion design.
Responsibilities:
- Apply visual design principles to generate branded deliverables for print and digital marketing assets that drive brand awareness and product adoption
- Develop overall layout and design for brochures, handouts, logos, presentations, advertising, social media, digital graphics that adhere to brand guidelines
- Solid understanding of design principles, trends, and motion design
- Conceptualize creative solutions for printed and digital communications materials, campaigns, projects, and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with in-house creatives and contract designers
- Plan and create visual solutions to communicate complex data
- Update and enhance existing design deliverables by working with established templates and existing documents
- Coordinate and implement projects, as assigned
- Manage the design process from concept through production and final execution, thinking broadly as well as small details
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership on internal communications projects
- Able to work on a PC platform using Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Animate programs
- Create animations based on directions from the Creative Manager and Market Managers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 3-5 years of previous graphic design experience
- Strong understanding of key design disciplines (graphic design layout and motion graphics)
- Strong computer skills in Adobe CC, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Adobe Premier
- Self-motivated, deadline-oriented team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to collaborate effectively with others with the ability to utilize constructive feedback during the review process to improve the final product
- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent organization and collaboration skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously
