What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Applied nurses?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Assist with procedures and treatments as directed by the healthcare provider
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical record systems (Epic), PCC, MATRIX
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Provide occupational health services to employees, including health screenings and immunizations
- Provide care for toddlers in a pediatric setting, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or behavioral health conditions
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Proficient in patient assessment and documentation
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience working in occupational health or with toddlers is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly Epic
