As a Grounds Specialist I, you would be responsible for:
- Supporting crew members by controlling lowering ropes, providing appropriate tools, and following safety protocols
- Operating and maintaining equipment including but not limited to chainsaws, chippers, rakes, and blowers
- Utilizing cones and signs to properly set up work zones
- Removing limbs and debris from work area to designated disposal area
- Maintaining a high level of quality work
- Utilizing safety PPE
Requirements:
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude!
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Ability to complete labor-intensive outdoor work with exposure to a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to navigate uneven terrain, stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and lift in excess of 50lbs on a regular basis
