Join our team as a Radiology Superivsr for our Weekends Only shift onsite at Ascension St. Mary's, Towne Centre.

What You Will Do
Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff.
- Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
- Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations. Provide input for hiring and termination procedures.
- Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes.
- Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- May perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing levels require. Create work schedules to ensure all areas of diagnostic imaging are covered 24/7.
- Perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application.
- Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained. Perform quarterly audits of all supply closets to review stock vs. workload. Make any changes to supply levels if necessary.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience required.
