Join PC Indiana, part of the Atlas Copco Group as a SHE Coordinator where you will develop and maintain documentation, records, and procedures observing ISO , , and Vacuum Technique Business Area (VTBA) management systems to support the facilities certifications and audits.
As part of the SHEQ Team, you will report to the SHEQ Manager and work with operations and management onsite in Michigan City.
Your Role
You will Support the manager in Nexus SHE incidents, injury, and accident investigation to ensure appropriate corrective actions are identified.
As well as perform audits to confirm implementation.
- You will order and maintain safety supplies for the facility as well as stock First Aid Stations and coordinate any outside suppliers to support safety, recycling, and sustainability efforts.
- You will organize training such as Forklift, Crane, and OSHA requirements as well as maintain training certifications.
- You will Coordinate inspection and maintenance for annual crane inspections, crane maintenance, and forklift maintenance as well as collect and maintain records for daily forklifts and crane inspections.
- You will Utilize the Claris preventative maintenance application to schedule and perform periodic audits and inspections.
- You will also collect and report information necessary for all regulatory and VTBA requirements including OSHA, IDEM, and sustainability.
- You will assemble information, and coordinate reporting for KPIs and metrics for local and divisional reports.
To Succeed, You Will Need
You will have an Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent
You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing
You will have a minimum of 1 year experience coordinating safety, environmental and sustainability activities
You will have OSHA 10 hour training (30 hour preferred)
You will have knowledge of performing audits to procedures (Certified ISO Auditor training preferred)
You will have advanced Microsoft Office and ERP applications (Power BI knowledge preferred)
