JOB SUMMARY:
Perform work as needed for the Production Department – assemble goods and kits in a production line environment. Daily work is completed while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Must be detailed oriented with a proficiency in mechanical assemblies. Onboarding new employees regarding job specifics tasks when assigned. Work is performed under general supervision with limited latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The list of essential functions below is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this job. Other duties may be assigned based on business need.
- Assists assigned floor supervisor to ensure timely production of goods.
- Assembles / manufactures complex goods in a production line setting.
- Uses manufacturing equipment and handheld tools on a routine basis.
- Operates production machinery including soldering guns, heat sealers, etc.
- Responsible for transporting work materials between work areas.
- Assists with quality control for contracted work as assigned.
- Follows production guidelines and specifications including health and safety guidelines.
- Maintains production standards/productivity/speed targets without compromising quality.
- Completes paperwork required for production.
- Provides Quality Control for the Production Department.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Plastic Injection Molding Experience (preferred, not required)
- One year of relevant experience.
- A combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
- Must satisfy Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Level 2 background screening requirements. May be required to have or obtain additional formal industry certification(s) based on area of assignment.
- During employment, will need to satisfy eight hours of continuing competency units (CCU’s) annually. Training will be provided by the company.
- Additional formal industry certification (s) may be required based on area of assignment.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Depending on the functional area of assignment, tasks involve the periodic performance of moderately physically demanding work, usually involving lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (up to 30 pounds). May involve some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, crawling, walking, or standing. Requires manual dexterity to manufacture small and fragile components. Reasonable accommodations, when practical, can be offered to accomplish the above requirements.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work is frequently done in an office environment sitting for extended periods at a desk in an air-conditioned environment. Some work will be done in the warehouse, which is not climate controlled, employees may occasionally be exposed to high temperature, humidity, cold, etc.
SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Most tasks require manual dexterity, in addition to visual and hearing acuity.

Full-Time
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Shift: 8am - 3:45pm

$13.50/hr
