Responsibilities:

  • Lead culinary operations with a focus on Cajun and Creole cuisine, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, to maintain a cohesive and efficient team.
  • Oversee food procurement, inventory management, and cost control measures to meet budgetary goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with management on special events, promotions, and menu planning to drive business growth.
  • Maintain a passion for culinary excellence, staying updated with industry trends and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant, preferably specializing in Cajun/Creole cuisine.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and mentor kitchen staff.
  • Creative flair and a passion for Southern cuisine, with a strong understanding of flavor profiles and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
