BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated HEDIS Coordinator for an opportunity in Remote EST!
Position Title : HEDIS Coordinator
Location : Remote EST
Anticipated Start Date : 11 / 4 / 2024

Expected Duration : 6 Months of contract with possible extension
Job Type : FULL TIME (>
30 HRS WEEKLY) , CONTRACT , Remote
Pay Range : $34 - $36 / hr

Job Description :
Position Title : HEDIS Coordinator (Remote)

Shift : 8am-5pm EST (lunch-noon-1pm)
As project volume increases, OT will be required with OT pay (flexible with OT hours worked with prior approval)
Pay Rate : $36.00 / hr on W2.
Note : Need RN OR LPN License with Prior HEDIS Experience.
Job Description :
Will be working the HEDIS project which measures performance and effectiveness of care by providers / provider groups.
Abstracting from Medical records for certain information.
Training will be provided.
Enter data into a specific program.
Will work with multiple systems.
Work with hiring manager to verify access and to complete training modules
Required Skills / Experience :
MUST HAVE LPN OR RN
Basic Excel and Basic Word
Can be flexible with workload and can adapt to daily change
Preferred Skills / Experience :
Customer service and great communication skills
Quick learner
Must be knowledgeable of technology
Position Purpose :
Perform duties to ensure HEDIS data accuracy and reporting, including investigation, auditing, and improvement opportunities.
Assist with quality improvement initiatives in the service and clinical areas.
Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
3 years of quality improvement or healthcare related experience.
Working knowledge of the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA).
HEDIS requirements preferred.
Requirements :
Coordinate, complete, and update management on clinical quality metrics and HEDIS processes and results
Establish and maintain an action plan to improve HEDIS scores
Implement process to request and evaluate member compliance reports for each HEDIS measure, including evaluating improvement opportunities
Collaborate with providers and internal departments on rate investigation and validation activities, including maintaining all evidence, documentations, and changes
Manage the HEDIS project to include assignment of nurses, adherence to plan timeline, and vendor oversight for timeliness and quality
Conduct quality audit and maintain all data and process controls to ensure compliance
