We have an available opening for a Site HR Business Partner with experience in Human Resources in a warehouse or manufacturing environment for our Distribution Center (DC) in Plainfield, IN.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a member of the DC team, provides coaching in Business Planning, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Organizational Design and Development, Learning and Development, Staffing and Selection, Training and Development, Leadership Development and Coaching, Team Development, Compensation and Benefits planning and administration and Associate/Employee Engagement.
- Based on business strategy, works to identify, design and implement appropriate organizational structures and key capabilities required to achieve business objectives. Acts as change agent.
- Assesses the business competencies that are required to meet strategic objectives, and the capability of the organization to maximize business opportunities. Identifies opportunities to fill competency gaps through talent acquisition and talent development.
- Leads the local leadership team discussion of HR issues. Influences this team to introduce programs & initiatives. Identifies opportunities and problems that require decisions and approval by the leadership team. Gathers and presents the relevant information to enable the leaders to understand and take action regarding HR related business needs and opportunities. Facilitates business decisions related to approval or rejection of these opportunities.
- Analyzes metrics, reports and data. Shares relevant information with the leaders. Determines how this information should drive change and continuous improvement across the business.
- Assists leadership to create work environments & reward systems that keep the associates stimulated and the team and organization productive.
- Supports managers during the annual Performance Management and Compensation Reward Cycle.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required with a focus in Human Resources, Management, Economics, Psychology, or Law preferred. Advanced degree in related field or business preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience required.
- A minimum of 2 years HR Experience supporting a Distribution Center or Manufacturing environment required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience supporting a diverse client group including clients ranging from non-exempt to professional business functions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple levels, functions and cultures with a sense of urgency required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Workday or other HRIS system experience.
- Experience working in large complex environments, matrixed organization with a centralized service center and centers of excellence is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in translating ambiguous business needs into strategies
