What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant position at BGSF?
Position Purpose:
Present and show case properties in rental communities and/or individual rental units to prospective tenants and convert prospects to renters.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule and conduct property tours, virtual property tours, and online presentations of properties
Showcase property features and amenities to prospects
Answer prospective tenant's questions about properties available to rent
Understand the prospect's specific needs and identify property features to meet those needs
Follow up with prospects and convert them to tenants
Maintain knowledge of properties including, but not limited to, features, benefits, and specifications
Monitor market trends and make recommendations to management for increasing conversion rates
Ensure accurate summary of interactions with prospects is maintained
Adhere to Fair Housing and company guidelines and policies
Communicate client preferences and concerns internally
Participate in promotional event sand open houses
Maintain knowledge of relevant rules and regulations
Qualifications:
Must be able to work on weekends
Professional appearance and demeanor
Familiarity with real estate practices and property management
Excellent customer service skills
Experience with property management and showing software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Solid, consistent leasing employment
Access to reliable personal transportation
Valid driver's license, required auto liability insurance, and an acceptable driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Typical work hours:
Monday and Thursday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Friday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday and Wednesday Off
