The Job Overview


We are seeking an accountant to help manage our finances. Your responsibilities will include tracking our organization’s revenue, expenses, and taxes, as well as producing financial reports. You will also be responsible for auditing our books to ensure our records are correct.


Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions via QuickBooks and other relevant software
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Assisting with computing taxes and preparing tax returns
  • Answering employee’s and contractors’ questions and concerns regarding payroll
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Collecting and verifying QuickBooks timesheets 


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university
  • 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Problem-solving skills and an ability to comprehend assigned processes
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally across various departments
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment (at times without existing structure or formal policies.)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
