ROLE SUMMARY:
The Line Lead is responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor in the set up and operation of one or more production lines. They will guide, train and motivate employees on the line to achieve optimal performance, help to solve problems, and meet quality and production standards while maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINE LEAD CAN LOOK LIKE:
- Assisting with line set ups that best accommodates each employee based on standard line lay out while maintaining production efficiencies.
- Assisting in upholding quality standards set forth by the Bill of Material (BOM) Specifications administered by the Quality Control team.
- Entering labor, production and quality data.
- Empowering, mentoring, and energizing team members to efficiently execute their assigned duties.
- Promptly reporting any employee behaviors, incidents and/or accidents to supervisor.
- Documenting employee activities as required by the Program Department.
- Maintaining a safe, orderly, and sanitized workspace that reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Acting on behalf of the Supervisor when directed or in his/her absence.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.
- 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Prior experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
LOCATION: St. Peters, Missouri
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm; Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
PAY: $17 per hour
