What are the responsibilities and job description for the HRIS Analyst position at Boys Town?
- Follows established procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
- Ensures accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS.
- Participates in the design and configuration of the HRIS.
- Participates in testing of system enhancements and modifications.
- Researches, diagnoses, and resolves client inquiries and elevates issues for resolution as appropriate.
- Provides service support to internal clients.
- Participates in HRIS related projects.
- Creates and provides standard and ad hoc queries or reports.
- Provides human resources data summaries or statistical analysis for use in strategic planning or decision-making.
- Prepares end-user documentation or training materials as needed.
- Solid knowledge of HRIS systems with a strong technical aptitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with all departments and employee levels.
- Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive data and information.
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and organized, and possess the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent analytical skills to develop and present meaningful conclusions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in HRIS system utilization or administration required.
- Workday experience preferred.
