Description
The HR Specialist at BRIGS will play a key role in supporting our human resources functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process in managing our employees' journey. The HR Specialist will handle various tasks, from interview coordination to managing performance review cycles and payroll administration.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support recruitment interviews and assessments by elevating candidates' experience, skills, and competencies to ensure alignment with job requirements.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Assist in drafting offers to candidates with leadership guidance.
- Delegate and manage onboarding tasks for new hires by coordinating with IT, Office Operations, and the hiring manager.
- Provide clear communication and address new hire inquiries before their start date.
- Administer performance review cycles, including task assignments and completion reminders.
- Handle payroll processes, advise on payroll setup, manage benefit enrollment, oversee open enrollment, and ensure correct tax deduction setup, reimbursements, and allowances.
- Update employee records in the HRIS, including position and compensation changes and document management.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems and payroll software preferably Paylocity.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
