Brooksource is seeking an experienced Databricks consultant to join our client’s learning and education team! In this role, you will act as a technical guide, assisting team members in creating educational content that empowers the organization to effectively utilize Databricks.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Databricks and have the expertise to guide others in coding, utilizing, and optimizing the platform.
While hands-on coding is not required, a strong comfort level with Databricks is essential to effectively demonstrate and teach its use to others.
The team does owns the education surrounding several other technologies (Snowflake, PowerApps) so any background knowledge in these areas would be very beneficial!
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with the team to facilitate learning and adoption of Databricks across various teams by conducting educational sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.
- Collaborate closely with teams to identify their specific needs and tailor custom content for Databricks education that aligns with those requirements.
- Identify friction points within the usage of Databricks and work towards resolving them to enhance user experience.
- Develop a deep understanding of the types of content that best serve team needs, including but not limited to creating micro tutorials for implementations.
- Ensure that all users have a clear understanding of what is required to effectively utilize the tools provided by Databricks.
- Work closely with architects across the organization to further understanding of how to best use Databricks while following the companies' standards and regulations.
Qualifications :
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on partnering with teams and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to provide guidance content teams to create custom educational content tailored to varying levels of user proficiency.
- A proactive approach in identifying challenges and proposing solutions within the platform’s ecosystem.
- Experience with Snowflake and MS PowerApps is a huge plus, as training will need to be built out for this as well
This role is pivotal in empowering our teams through knowledge sharing and optimized use of the Databricks platform, ultimately driving efficiency and innovation within our projects
