Management Analyst

Eagle Global Scientific is working with CDC/NCIRD’s Influenza Division to provide serves in support of their mission of providing laboratory and epidemiology surveillance and technical assistance to state, national and international health entities and ministries throughout the world. We are seeking a  Management Analyst to perform the following duties: Conduct data analysis and prepare reports for use in briefings, presentation, and testimonyCoordinate with the Human Resources Office, OAS/OGS, Center Officials and internal/external partners when necessaryCoordinate, and participate in Division planning meetings, conferences, conference calls and other work sessionsPlan, initiate and coordinate communication with the Division to ensure timely approval and completion of actionsTrouble shoots and correct or re-design existing internal spreadsheets to adapt to changing needs within the DivisionUse and maintain databases and systems to track staffing actions and personnel informationPerform database design, management and analysis related to surveillance researchConduct data analysis for use in preparation of reports, presentations, and papers for publication in scientific journalsManagement and accountability of government property assets throughout the division, including office equipment, laboratory equipment, IT assets, etc.Trouble shoots and correct or re-design existing internal databases to adapt to changing needs within the OD/BranchDevelop, design, maintain and use databases to support the needs of the OD/BranchRun data queries and assist with database design to support surveillance staffAssist with preparation of World Health Organization (WHO) annual reportGather, track, monitor and analyze data into a reporting formatKnowledge of virus strain designations and virus sequencing as related to databases/reportingKnowledge of World Health Organization (WHO) reporting systems, VSDiagnosis, StarLims and other CDC data systemsEGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Employment decisions are made without regard to any protected category.
