Kitchen Employee Non-exempt General Manager Part-time
Job purpose
The Kitchen Employee will assist in the planning, coordinating, and executing of an efficient shift while ensuring Buddy’s standards of quality and service are met.
Essential Functions
- Complete hourly training programs and assist in all BOH.
- Follow all receiving and ordering procedures.
- Abide by all sanitation and food handling practices to comply with Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and preventative maintenance.
- Displays team-building skills and always handles assignments with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Qualifications
- Some knowledge and experience in areas of restaurant operations, particularly the Kitchen.
- Knowledge of all recipes and product specifications.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work withing budgetary guideline.
- Ability to communicate effectively will all levels of staff with strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Working conditions/Physical Demands
- Must be able to articulate clearly and listen attentively to employees and guests
- Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Must be able to reach, lift and bend
- Ability to work with kitchen equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds comfortably
