To support facility operations, records management requirements, documentation and data quality control needs on client's account by providing CAD and Drawing Management services to Site Engineering, Facility Managers, Projects, and Space & Occupancy Planners. Through use of the client’s CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) system and provide individual contributor site support for identified CAD functions and Drawing Management services.Job Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains all floor data and space data for CAD/CAFM system.
Maintains all synchronized space data for the integration of internal servers.
Maintain index of DWG files, specifications, and other floorplan documents.
Prepare test fits for space modifications being considered.
Convert as-built drawings to standardized and simplified CAD layering configuration.
Maintains all required disciplines drawings for buildings and facilities including Architectural, Civil, Electrical, HVAC, Process & Utility Piping, Plumbing, and Safety, Health, and Environmental.
Maintains Master building floor plans and as-built furniture plans for each building using CAD to capture minor post-move space reconfigurations.
Completes poly-lining for area measurements based on the BOMA Standard Method for Measuring Floor Area in Office Buildings.
Performs space audits to ensure accuracy of reconfiguration to the design and update the CAD files accordingly.
Provides support as necessary to Space Planners for block planning and presentation drawings utilizing CAD.
Maintains corporate CAD drawing policies and procedures and maintains index of CAD files / CAD library.
Coordinates with outside vendors to ensure accuracy of drawings and adherence to the corporate CAD drawing policies and procedures.
Distributes CAD drawings as requested by Occupancy Planners, Project Managers, Facility Managers, etc.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. Additionally, an individual will need to perform the compilation of site standards (faucets, door hardware, paint palette, etc.), and composing/printing miscellaneous in support of the projects (construction signage, etc.).
Formal Training/Education
Associates/Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
3 – 5 years or more in related field of Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities or Corporate Real Estate environment including working knowledge of planning business, construction, and technology (infrastructure) are necessary.
100% on site work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expected
Experience and skills in AutoCAD/Revit
Experience and skills using MS Office tools including Excel and Access working with data.
Some experience using CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) tools and understanding of database concepts is required.
Some experience with BOMA Standard Method is desirable.
Excel at an Intermediate level required.
Professional knowledge of office space planning and design.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and drive issues to closure.
