The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for helping to manage and control the employee payroll systems and will be required to perform a range of administrative tasks for the Human Resources team. The successful applicant will have strong communication skills and a background in office management. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare weekly payroll for 120 Employees in ADP.
- Prepares and processes the journal entry into the ERP system
- Maintains employee records on both ADP and the ERP systems
- Review new hires, maintain change of status, process separations and Terminations.
- Process various earnings, deductions and taxes; disability, garnishments, 401k deductions, state, federal and local taxes.
- Administer the organization’s retirement plan (401K) working with ADP.
- Work closely and coordinate with Team Members, Department Managers, Consultants regarding the Organization's leave of absence program, EDD unemployment, EDD Disability, etc.
- Provide information or direction on inquiries for garnishments/payroll processes from management, Team Members, and third parties.
- Process benefit packages for all newly eligible Team Members.
- Communicate and respond to Team Members in regards to earnings, deductions, and taxes.
- Reconciliation of bi-weekly payroll for all hours (regular, sick, vacation, holiday, overtime, etc).
- Process stipends and garnishments.
- Assist Accounting Department with month-end closing.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years Payroll Processing Experience
- 2-4 Years ADP Workforce Now Experience
- Demonstrated Computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be accurate and attentive to detail.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
