What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Casa Del Rios?
Caregiver for developmentally disabled residents in a very small 15 bed facility.*
This is in a home setting, NOT a convalescent hospital, acute care hospital or skilled nursing facility. *
The tasks include all activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, diaper changing, showering, food prep, feeding, lifting and transferring from a wheelchair and recreation activities.
Full-Time MUST BE AVAILABLE TO
- work ALL shifts am, pm, and graveyard.
- work weekends and holidays.
- Please do not apply for full time, if you're not available on weekends and holidays or if you cannot work all shifts, including graveyard.
- Full-time employees work a rotating schedule to have off a three-day weekend every 3 weeks. The other two weeks, days off are during the week (tues and wed for example).
- The full-time staff rotate through am, pm and graveyard shifts.
Please only apply for a full-time job, if you are willing to rotate through all shifts and have a three-day weekend (Fri, Sat and Sun) every 3rd week.
We do hire part time staff that are available to work weekends and holidays.
The Caregiver pay is $16 to $23.50 an hour, depending on your verifiable work experience and Full Time or Part Time Status.
There is an ADDED $1 or $2 an hour pay differential depending on availability.
We do hire Certified Nurses Aids as well. For full-time, you must be available for the rotating schedule. CNA pay rate is higher and is also dependent on verifiable work experience and length of certification and full or part time status.
