CDR Maguire Inc., a national multi-disciplinary engineering and emergency management consulting firm is seeking a Contract Support Specialist in the Miami, FL area.
Individuals will assist our construction engineering inspection (CEI) team with project related responsibilities. Individuals will perform the following in this role :
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Assist in project-related duties (i.e., CQR / LIMS, progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing Construction Contract changes, etc.).
Exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project.
Reads and comprehends contract documents.
Monitor construction progress to assure proper installation sequences and compliance with schedule and contract requirements and state and local regulations.
Comply with the department’s procedures covering project-related duties and be proficient in the computer programs necessary to perform these duties including : Microsoft Office, Multi-Line, Engineering Menu, and CTQP Final Estimates Level II course.

Requirements
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in a related field highly preferred.
Four (4) years of road and bridge construction engineering inspection experience having performed / assisted in project-related duties.
Experience with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT / Turnpike) required.
Completion of the Final Estimates Preparation Seminar and CTQP Final Estimates Level II course preferred.
Ability to stay organized and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to plan and prioritize strategically.
Very strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personnel.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrated ability to multitask with multiple high-priority demands in an intense, deadline-driven environment.
